Creating the Perfect Soundtrack for a Birthday Party
We were invited to perform for Ann’s birthday celebration, and as always, our focus was on shaping the night around the client and their guests.
The evening began with a brilliant touch — guests were called to dinner by the huge (and very loud!) bell that sits at the centre of the ancient, giving us the perfect window to finish setting up and prepare for the party ahead.
When it came to the live music, we worked hard to build a set list that would really connect with everyone in the room.
Without giving anyone’s birthday secrets away, we chose to focus the set around sixties and seventies classics — mixed in with hits form across all the decades this hit the spot with this particular crowd. It also gave us the chance to bring out some fantastic tracks we don’t always get to play — and the response on the night said it all.
