Hornington Manor Barn Wedding

The summer rolls on for the wedding band, and we have been performing all over Yorkshire. One recent stop was a closer to home than usual at Hornington Manor near Tadcaster. We had the pleasure of performing for Emma and Toby’s wedding.

Hornington Manor has to be one of our favourite venues, not only is it beautiful – and the team are super-nice – it’s also one of the best sounding rooms we have performed in. The big plus here is it only takes a few minutes to sound check! If you’re considering a barn wedding in Yorkshire you should definitely check out this venue.

It was clear from the start that this was going to be a party. The dance floor was busy from the moment the first dance ended. Our couple had carefully curated playlists for each part of the night that pushed the energy in the room up as the night progressed. It also gave us an insight into what the crowd were after, so we were able to play off of that and shape our set accordingly.

For a change we were asked to perform a “last dance” rather than the first one. This was a huge singalong number and everyone was in fine voice. We couldn’t remember another time we have been asked to do this, so it currently counts as a complete one-off!

This was a great party, in a great venue, with a great bunch of people. We had a blast. Massive congratulations and the best of luck to Emma and Toby.
