Summer Wedding at The Parsonage Escrick

Tanya and Joe asked us to be the band for their wedding at The Parsonage in Escrick near York. The Parsonage is a great venue with a fantastic function room and adjoining garden. It’s also a short drive from home which is always a nice change!

We arrived Just as the wedding breakfast was ending, so we were able to get set up whilst guests were mingling elsewhere. Because the team at The Parsonage were super helpful we were set up in record time. Then we were all set for a party!

Our couple had chosen ‘I don’t want to miss a thing‘ by Aerosmith for their first dance. It was a great choice, and they were swamped by friends and family on the dance floor by the end. This is always a good sign for the rest of the evening.

Tanya and Joe’s friends were up for a good time. The dance floor stayed busy all night. We even managed to squeeze a request in having quickly learned the song in one our breaks! Because we offer to bespoke our between set playlists our ‘iPad DJ’ kept the guests up and dancing whilst we weren’t performing. We’d been asked to include plenty of 90’s hits and we were more than happy to oblige!

It was great to be back at The Parsonage, and we hope it isn’t too long before we are back there again. It was also great to receive a glowing review from our happy couple the next day! They wrote:

“This band was amazing. They played at our wedding yesterday and played our first dance song live which was beautiful. All the guests commented on how great the band was. They played a fantastic range of songs and the communication from booking them to after the event is fantastic. I would recommend them to anybody. 5 stars from Mr and Mrs Crockett.”
