We made our first visit to the Met Hotel in Leeds recently for Leon and Rachel’s wedding celebrations. We had a great time with them and their family and friends.
We set up in the hotel’s magnificent ballroom which was a real contrast to the country weddings we’ve recently been performing at. Our first set was quite early in the evening and there was still a varied mix of ages in the room so we started with some classics to get everyone up and dancing.
Between sets we provided our ‘iPad DJ’ to keep the party going. The beauty of this service is our couples can create their own perfect playlists for the evening ahead of time and just listen to the music they want on the night. Best of all, we offer this for free!!
Our second set was much later and the crowd were definitely up for a party by this point. Our brides had asked us to learn a ‘last dance’ to make everyone was on the dance floor at the end of the night. Their request was ‘Little Lion Man’ by Mumford and Sons, and it certainly had the desired effect! The party were in fine voice!
After two encores we finally finished and turned the last part of the evening back over to the iPad DJ. Things were still going strong as we left at 1am. The party didn’t look like it was going to end!
