Hooton Pagnell Hall Wedding Band

We took the band to Hooton Pagnell Hall for Catherine and Graham’s wedding in early September. Meteorologically speaking, summer was over, but this really didn’t feel like the typical Autumn wedding in Yorkshire. The sun was out as we arrived at this stunning location in the South Yorkshire countryside. We knew we were in for another hot night!

The Hall is an amazing boutique hotel which only hosts a limited number of weddings each year. We were setting up in their wonderful tithe barn for the evening’s entertainment. However, from speaking to guests throughout the night the wedding party had made use of nearly every corner of the venue throughout the day.

We often say that Yorkshire has some of the best independent wedding suppliers in the country, and the team at Hooton Pagnell definitely rank up with some of the best we’ve worked with. We’d had a full run down of the evening ahead of the event, and everyone we spoke to on the night was equally as organised. This meant our load in and set up went really smoothly and with minimum disruption to the guests.

Our couple had chosen Better Together by Jack Johnson for their first dance. This was a great laid back tune to start what was a really relaxed and informal evening. We were playing three sets, starting quite early on in the evening, so we took things steady to start with and built up the tempo as the night went on.

Catherine and Graham’s guests were in fine form and our iPad DJ kept them busy between sets. There were some really great moves on display!

The end of the night came around too quickly and we were soon off up the A1 and heading for home with our first wedding of Autumn all wrapped up!
