We were super excited to play for Laura and Nick when they were recently married at Rise Hall in Yorkshire’s East Riding. Some might remember the venue when it starred in it’s own TV series after the property expert Sarah Beeny bought and renovated this great country house.
The Hall looked amazing in the sunshine as we arrived, and the guests relaxed outside whilst we got to work setting up for a celebration.
Our happy couple’s first dance was ‘Satellite’ by Nickelback, and we don’t remember seeing – or hearing – a busier dance floor. Everyone was in fine voice! Things stayed very much the same all night!
Whilst we weren’t performing Laura and Nick’s guests were able to listen to playlists of their hosts favourite music – we’d worked with our couple to customise this aspect of the event to their tastes. We offer this to all of our clients and it’s little touches like this that really help to make each gig unique.
