Easter is traditionally the start of wedding season for the band. We play weddings all year round, but from Easter until the end of summer it becomes a weekly occurrence!
This year, we kicked things off with a pair of fantastic Yorkshire weddings.
Good Friday at The Manor Rooms

Our Easter weekend began at the beautiful Manor Rooms for Hannah and Andrew’s celebration. This is a fantastic venue with stunning views of the Yorkshire Wolds. Not that we had time to take them in, we had work to do!
Hannah and Andrew’s guests were everything we hope for – enthusiastic dancers and totally up for a party! Our couple had spent time reviewing our song list. They had a clear idea what they wanted to hear – we were definitely up the rockier end of things! There were plenty of nineties favourites too!
We had a great time, and it was the perfect way to start the wedding season in earnest. We’re also super proud to now be a recommended supplier at The Manor Rooms!

Easter Saturday at Thicket Priory. Caroline & Matt’s Big Day.
After a few hours’ sleep, we were back on the road for our second wedding of the weekend. Caroline and Matt’s wedding at Thicket Priory. We’re based in York so it was only a short journey out to see them!

We’re not sure if there was an official theme, but fun definitely felt like the word of the day. Everyone was in such a joyful mood that our job felt almost effortless! We even got in on the action thanks to East Yorkshire Booths.
We also had a starring role in the all-important first dance sweepstake. Out couple had chosen ‘Heaven’ by Bryan Adams. If this isn’t a tradition, it should be!

It was a fabulous weekend of shows, and we feel incredibly lucky to share these unforgettable moments with our couples. This was just the beginning of another summer packed with music, love, and magical memories.
